Keys are collected from our office at 16 Goldfinch St, Ohakune. We are in the same carpark as New World, and next door to Bayleys.

Sat/Sun Closed- If we have arrivals, we will make alternative arrangements and open the office.

If you have hired a chalet with a log burner, yes there is firewood supplied. We will give you a complimentary bag of kindling on your arrival. Any additional kindling can be purchased at New World or Placemakers.

On the day of your arrival phone us around an hour before our office is due to close so we can arrange a lock box for you. We MUST have your bond form back before we can leave keys out.

Once we have received your booking, we will send you an official booking confirmation with the bond form and confirmation attached.

We only have 2 chalets that SOMETIMES allow pets. You will have to contact us prior to booking so we can check with the owner that they will allow your pet (depending on breed, age, toilet trained etc)

Ohakune has many ski and board hire shops: TCB Ski board and Bike, SLR, Ski and Board Shed, and Off Piste.
You can also hire your gear at the Turoa ski resort on the Mountain.

If chains are required on the mountain road, you can hire these from Off Piste on Thames Street, or you can buy them from TCB.

Unfortunately, we have a two-night minimum booking policy with all of our chalets. We can allow a one-night stay in some circumstances, but the cost of a clean will be added to the rental price. The cost of a clean will ranges from $40 to $70 per chalet.

This depends if there are people checking out on the day you plan to arrive. We will still have to check the chalet to make sure everything is in working order before you can check in and turn off any alarms. Check with us the day before you check in, to save you travelling down early and being denied an early check in.

Check with us the day before you are due to check out. It depends on if there are people checking in the day you are checking out. A late check-out till 11am is free, however if later, we will have to charge a fee.

We expect the chalet to be left clean and tidy upon departure. We send our cleaners in afterwards to sanitise and clean it for the next guests. We expect dishes to be done, vacuum if a mess is made, counters wiped etc

This is the first rule of our terms and conditions. The tenant shall not permit more than the number of persons as specified on the Booking Confirmation to sleep at the premises. This breaks Fire Safety Regulations and, if this condition is broken, will result in immediate eviction and complete and total loss of rental and bond with no refund.
