Welcome to “The Shack” – TR3

The shack is the perfect base to stay and play in the Ruapehu Region. It is heated with a log burner to keep you cozy in the winter months and features a covered deck area with a picnic table and outdoor bath to help unwind after a busy day of adventure. You’ll have undisturbed mountain views from the open plan lounge kitchen and dining area.

The Shack sleeps six across two bedrooms and one bathroom. It offers the ideal set up for a group of friends on an adventure getaway. You can even bring your fury friends along – pets are welcome inside at this home away from home!

Town is just a short 5 Minute walk, or you can easily drive to the junction après ski area in less than five minutes from The Shack.

This accommodation is Dog Friendly, Please Specify if you are bring a dog at the time of booking.

Sleeps 6 in 2 bedrooms and one bathroom.

Bedroom Configuration:

Bedroom One: 1x Double Bed, 1x Bunk Bed – Sleeps 4

Bedroom Two: 1x Bunk Bed – Sleeps 2

Linen: All beds have duvets and pillows plus mattress and pillow protectors. You can either bring your personal linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels etc.) or hire through Ruapehu Chalet Rentals. Your chalet will have bathmat/s and tea-towel/s
You can hire Linen from us – we will make sure this is made up on the beds prior to your arrival
Linen Hire is a flat rate and not charged per night.
Single $20.00 and Double $25.00 – This includes top and Bottom Sheets, Pillowcases and Towels.

Bathroom: The bathroom area features two basins, a toilet, and a shower.

Kitchen: The kitchen features a full oven, Rangehood, Fridge / Freezer, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster as well as all crockery and utensils for six.

Dining: A wooden pull-out table with seating for four. This area is open plan with the kitchen and lounge

Lounge: Open plan with dining and kitchen. Features wood burner as well as two couches and TV.

Entertainment: There is unlimited WIFI, Television and Chrome Case as well as DVD player and a selection of DVDs to choose from.

Heating: There is a wood burner in the main living area with additional heating in bedrooms.

Laundry: There is a washing machine and dryer based in the bathroom area.

Parking/outside –. There is a shared driveway as well as parking for up to three cars.

NB: All orders will incur a service fee of $80. This will be charged at the time of booking.

This chalet is pet friendly, however NOT fully fenced. It is the GUESTS SOLE RESPONSIBILITY to keep pets under control on this property.
