Welcome to Rangatira Alpine Sports Club

Rangatira Ski Club was established in 1959 at the Whakapapa Ski Field and boast a long proud history at Mt Ruapehu. This Ski Lodge based in the Turoa Village of Ohakune Boasts sleeping for 40 people in a traditional single bunk room set up. There is a large commercial kitchen along with a large lounge, open fireplace, games room with a pool table and a movie screen plus a decked area to capture the afternoon sun!

Bedrooms: There are eight bedrooms all with single bunks in them. Each room comes with a foam mattress, wardrobes/storage, and a handbasin/vanity unit.

You will need to bring your own, sheets, pillows and cases, towels, and blankets for your stay.

You can hire Linen from us – we will make sure this is made up on the beds prior to your arrival
Linen Hire is a flat rate and not charged per night.
Single $20.00– This includes top and Bottom Sheets, Pillowcases and Towels.

Bathrooms – There are Separate women’s and men’s toilets as well as a shared shower room with 4 private cubicles.

Kitchen – Large spacious Commercial kitchen featuring a walk-in food storage area. There is a large Gas Cook Top as well as a hot plate and two ovens. There is a large fridge for cold storage and a large dish steriliser.

Dining: Large wooden bench seat style tables with seating for everyone. Including additional seating in the games room. This area is opened planned with the lounge which features a large open fire.

Entertainment: There is a dedicated games room with couches for seating, a pool tables, a foosball table, and a large movie projector screen.

Heating – There is heating all throughout the lodge. With heating in each of the rooms, panel heaters in the corridors and a large open fire in the living area. There are also additional portable heaters if needed.

Laundry: There is a dedicated area for laundry and is equipped with a washer, dryer, and everything you need to wash your clothes. There is also a large drying room which is mainly used in winter for drying ski gear.

Parking/outside –. There are enough car spaces for a large bus and extra cars. (Up to 10 vehicles)

SUMMER NIGHTLY RATE

$25 per person per night. Minimum of $600 per night

$800 per night for up to 40 guests.

NB: All orders will incur a service fee of $80. This will be charged at the time of booking.
