Convenience, space, and comfort. This home has it all. Located centrally and mid-way between the junction Après Ski Area and the Town center this is the perfect base to stay and play in our Region. This large spacious home offers Four Large bedrooms, the ideal set up for two families to stay together.
You’ll be kept toasty and warm with the wood burner located in the main living area and a HRV system which heats the rest of the house, as well as underfloor heating in the bathrooms. There is a large walk-in drying room and internal access double garage which makes unloading from the Mountain a breeze.
The Decked area is the perfect place to unwind from a busy day of adventures and capture the sunset and to top it off there is an outdoor Spa pool for your use.

Bedrooms:
Bedroom One (Downstairs) – 1x Queen bed
Bedroom Two (Downstairs) – 2x King Single
Bedroom Three (upstairs) – 1x King Bed
Bedroom Four (Upstairs) –3x King Single, 1x Single
Linen: All beds have duvets and pillows. You can either bring your personal linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels etc.) or hire through Ruapehu Chalet Rentals. Your chalet will have bathmat/s and tea-towel/s
Linen Hire is a flat rate and not charged per night.
Single $20.00 and Double $25.00 – This includes top and Bottom Sheets, Pillowcases and Towels.
Bathroom – There is a shared bathroom upstairs and a shared bathroom downstairs.
Kitchen – This is a large open planned space with the dining area and the lounge. This kitchen features a large fridge freezer, induction cook top, in wall oven, Rangehood, Coffee Machine, Microwave, Toaster, kettle and all the cutlery, crockery, pots and pans needed to host up to 10 people.
Dining: This area is open planed and features a large wooden table seating 8 with additional bar seating for three.
Lounge: This space is opened planned with the kitchen and dining and features two large couches as well as additional couch seating near the fireplace.
Entertainment: In the lounge there is a Television with Freeview as well as a Google Chromecast to cast your own subscriptions. There is also unlimited Wi-Fi, As well as an outdoor Spa pool.
Heating – There is a Large Wood burner based in the main living area, with additional heating in the bedrooms.
Laundry/Drying Room: The laundry is based in the Double internal garage which makes it perfect for unloading after a busy day on the mountain. There is also a large drying room, and this features underfloor heating, hangers etc for ski gear as well as a fan.
Parking/outside – There is enough off-street parking for up to 3 vehicles with more parking on street. Outside also features a lovely, grassed area as well as a decked area with outdoor seating and a spa pool!

We stayed here in September 2022, and were thrilled with our choice! The property was clean, warm, modern and relaxing. Everything you needed for a week away for extended family with a 4 young kids in the mix!
The location was perfect, mid way between town and the junction. The view of the mountain on a clear day was beautiful and enjoyed from the living areas and bedrooms upstairs.
Fireplace had heaps of wood stacked beside it and more just outside. Underfloor heating in the bathrooms was a bonus, so we were never cold! Super cosy all the time!
The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were modern and clean.
The kitchen was well equipped and the washer and dryer worked well.
The spa was luxurious and very private. So beautiful being out in the cool night air in a hot spa.
The staff at Ruapehu Rentals were so helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
The owners were also super accommodating with their support and went over and above.
