The Alpine Triathlon with a twist.
The Peak to Powderkeg is a multi sport race from the top of Turoa Ski Field down to the infamous Powderkeg Restaurant and Bar. Competitors ski or snow board to the Turoa Plaza, run approximately 4kms to the 12.5km road marker and then cycle o the bottom of the Mountain Road where they drop there bike, sprint into the Powderhorn carpark and skull a beer. (youth options available)
An empty vessel completes the race.

The Goat Adventure Run -
The Goat Alpine Adventure run is an exhilarating, challenging, yet achievable alpine run traversing the side of spectacular Mt Ruapehu.
Course Description
The course measures 20 kms of mountainous terrain with ascents, descents, twists and turns starting at the Whakapapa Ski Area and finished at Turoa Ski Area. The Goat is not designed as a walking event, participants must enter with the intention of running a majority of the distance.
