Waiora Lodge is the perfect alpine location for a weekend away with extended family or a group of friends. You have no neighbours & your view is the mighty Mt Ruapehu, with all she has to offer. This secluded retreat is about half-way between National Park & Ohakune. Located on the straight as you come south from the Makatote Viaduct. This is an excellent chalet. Beautifully built & outfitted, it awaits your private weekend away.
Sleeps 8-10, in 3 bedrooms. Plus a further 8 beds in the new Annex (RW2b*) (refer annex details and booking arrangements below)
Bedroom Configuration for Waiora Lodge:
1st bedroom has
1 x Queen bed
2nd bedroom has

3rd bedroom is designed for the "kids", with
1 x Single over Double bunk, 1 x Single bed, plus
2 x Single mattresses (end to end in a raised alcove, accessed by ladder).
Bathrooms: 2 x bathrooms, both with vanity, shower & toilet.
Entertainment: TV with 'Freeview', DVD player, radio & stereo. Mobile phones have reception inside the chalet.
Heating: A large built-in wood fire in the lounge (with an ample supply of firewood), heats the open-plan living area. Built-in electric heating throughout the rest of the lodge ensures a warm & cosy atmosphere.
Kitchen / Living / Dining: This great chalet has an open-plan living area with an excellent modern kitchen, large dining table & full lounge with comfortable seating for all of your family or group.
The kitchen is fully equipped with brand-new appliances & facilities including, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher & oven with a 6 burner gas hob.
Laundry / Drying: Large separate drying room accessed both internally & externally for skis, boards, boots & clothing.
Parking: More than enough off-road parking. Undercover parking for two vehicles. You can exit your car & enter the property undercover.
Views: Your view from the lounge is the fire, the great outdoors plus fantastic views of Mt. Ruapehu.

This newly finished addition to Waiora Lodge allows you to increase the size of your group, without blowing the budget.
Warmth is provided by built-in electric heating.
The living area has lounge seating & comes with a large TV.
The bathroom has a toilet, shower, & vanity.
In the first bedroom there is a single over double bunk bed. (Sleeps 3)
The second bedroom contains 2 x single beds.
The third sleeping area has a single bunk bed, & a single bed. This is accessed through the second bedroom.
