(Chalet code TC4) A-frame classic alpine chalet in Ohakune township. Fantastic park-like back section setting with mountain views. Nice new carpet and interior renovations make for a comfortable stay in this chalet!
Bedroom Configuration:
1st bedroom (downstairs) with 1 x Double bed (plus bathroom ensuite with shower, basin and toilet).
2nd bedroom (upstairs) has 3 x Single Beds
3rd sleeping area upstairs (accessed through the 2nd bedroom) also has 3 x Single beds - NB two of these are very close together and will work for sleeping a couple.
Linen: All beds have duvets and pillows. You can either bring your personal linen (sheets, pillow-cases, towels etc) or hire through Ruapehu Chalet Rentals. Your chalet will have bathmat/s and tea-towel/s
Bathrooms: One ensuite off the main bedroom. This is also accessed through the main hall entrance. Main chalet bathroom is downstairs and has Shower, Toilet, Basin and Vanity.
Entertainment: Yes, this chalet has the standard TV/ DVD etc along with confortable lounge living space, however the entertainment beauty with this chalet is in its section. Fantasic open space leading to the Mangawhero Stream (watch the kids with this one as it is not fenced). Park-like grounds and mountain views... breathe in this air!
Kitchen / Dining / Lounge: A revamped kitchen (including slow-cooker abnd rice cooker) Walk-in pantry. Dining seating for 8. New leather lounge seating for 6 plus 2 x new large extra chairs. Redecorated lounge.
Heating: Kent-style fire with plenty of wood supplies. New heat-pump system as well as heaters in bedrooms. You'll be very cosy in this one!
Laundry / Drying room: Laundry with washing machine, dryer and tub in main large bathroom. Separate Drying Room perfectly located just as you enter the chalet. This works so well for dropping off your wet mountain gear as you arrive.
Parking: Plenty of off-street parking - 1 x carport.
General: TC4 is not the newest chalet (and the price reflects this), however you will enjoy the private setting, the space at the rear of the section and the mountain views!... So handy to town!
