A group of businessmen inconjuction with Taupo Car Club will be running the inaugural Ohakune Giant 1000 hillclimb on the weekend of 9/10 April 2011.
The venue utilises part of the popular rally stage and incorporates the infamous “Powderhorn Corner” before climbing 1000metres to the finish line at Ruapahu Alpine Lifts car park. The course length is 16.5km.
